[Panya Project: Permaculture, Natural Building and Community Living in Northern Thailand] Natural Building

The techniques that we practice at the Panya Project are either traditionnally Thai (bamboo, wood, and thatch) or imported from other areas (wattle and daube, cob, adobe, and a fusion that we call wattle and cob). We try as much as possible to build with materials available around us, and to make choices that edge us toward ever lower impact and sustainability.

Natural Building Workshops

In December we are hosting an Adobe and ferro cement sauna building workshop. This one should be really creative and fun, and depending on how it goes, we may be able to take a suana by the end of the two weeks! Please read more about that here
